The GUHRING 9055110033000 is a solid carbide jobber-length drill bit engineered for high-performance drilling in demanding industrial applications. Built to DIN 6537L standards, it features a 140-degree split point (SU type) with web thinning for self-centering entry and reduced thrust. The cutting geometry uses a regular spiral flute with a 5xD flute-to-diameter ratio, giving it the reach and chip evacuation needed in production environments. A FIREX coating provides thermal and wear resistance when cutting cast iron and steel. Coolant-through capability supports high-speed, deep-hole operations where heat management is critical. This bit is intended for use by machinists and CNC operators in precision manufacturing and toolroom settings.
This drill bit is sized at 3.3 mm (0.1299 inches) in diameter with a straight-cylindrical shank measuring 0.2362 inches in diameter. It is designed for drilling cast iron and steel workpieces in both manual and CNC machine tool setups. The 5xD depth capability and coolant-through design make it well suited for production drilling cycles where consistent hole quality and tool life are priorities. It conforms to DIN 6535 and DIN 6537L standards, placing it in a well-defined performance class for interchangeability on the shop floor.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or standard tooling selection for machine tool spindles accepting a 0.2362-inch straight-cylindrical shank, conforming to DIN 6535 and DIN 6537L. Primary workpiece materials are cast iron (material code K) and steel (material code P).
Installation is performed by machinists or CNC setup technicians. Secure the shank fully in a collet, drill chuck, or hydraulic toolholder rated for the shank diameter before beginning any cycle. Confirm coolant-through passages are clear and system pressure is adequate before engaging coolant-through mode. Power down and lock out the machine spindle before changing or inspecting tooling per standard OSHA lockout/tagout procedures.
