The GUHRING 9042630047600 is a solid carbide corner chamfer end mill designed for precision metal removal in demanding machining environments. The tool measures 3/16 inches in diameter with a 5/8-inch length of cut and a 2-inch overall length. It runs five flutes with a 45-degree helix angle and a 0.002-inch chamfer width at a 45-degree chamfer angle. The FIREX PVD coating — a TiAlN/TiN combination — extends tool life when cutting ferrous and high-temp alloys. It is centercutting, right-hand cutting, and right-hand fluted with a straight cylindrical shank. Machinists and tool-and-die professionals use this tool for high-precision finishing and material removal across a wide range of materials.
This end mill is suited for milling steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, and titanium as primary workpiece materials, with secondary capability in non-ferrous metals and hard materials. Its close pitch, five-flute geometry supports shouldering, slotting, rampdown, helical interpolation, drill milling, plunging, and recessing operations. The single-end, regular-length configuration fits standard CNC machining centers and manual mills where a compact, high-performance carbide end mill is required for both roughing and finishing passes.
Designed for use in CNC machining centers and manual milling machines accepting a 3/16-inch straight cylindrical shank. Primary workpiece compatibility includes steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and superalloys including titanium. Secondary workpiece compatibility includes non-ferrous metals and hard materials.
This tool is installed and operated by qualified machinists following shop safety and machine-guarding protocols. Secure the shank fully in a collet or end mill holder to the appropriate clamping depth before running. Verify spindle speed and feed rate parameters are set for solid carbide tooling before operation. Do not exceed the rated depth of cut for the 5/8-inch length of cut to avoid deflection or tool breakage.
