It carries a 3/4-10 UNC thread form with a plug chamfer, 4 flutes, and a Class 2B fit tolerance. The tap is manufactured from cobalt high-speed steel for added heat and wear resistance and is finished with a TiCN (titanium carbonitride) coating to extend tool life in demanding threading applications.
