The GUHRING 9039210240000 is a spiral flute tap designed for metric blind hole threading applications. It cuts an M24 x 3.00 right-hand thread to a 6H class of fit and is manufactured from cobalt high-speed steel with a TiN (titanium nitride) coating for extended tool life in demanding materials. The modified bottoming chamfer allows threading closer to the bottom of blind holes than a standard taper or plug tap. With a 40-degree helix angle and fast flute style, this tap efficiently evacuates chips upward out of the hole during the cutting cycle. Installation is performed by licensed machinists and toolroom professionals on CNC machining centers, CNC lathes, or manual tapping machines.

This tap is intended for use in alloyed and unalloyed steel. The modified bottoming chamfer makes it the right choice when thread depth must be maximized in blind hole conditions.
