The GUHRING 9037410075000 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision material removal in demanding machining applications. Built on the Series 3741 platform, it features a 0.2953-inch (7.50 mm) diameter with a 45-degree helix angle and a FIREX coating that extends tool life when cutting abrasive materials. The three-flute geometry balances chip evacuation with rigidity, making it well suited for slotting, profiling, and shoulder milling operations. It is a single-end, right-hand cut tool with right-hand spiral flutes and is centercutting, allowing plunge entry. Licensed machinists and CNC operators working in job shops, tool rooms, and production environments are the primary users of this tool.
This end mill is rated for primary workpiece materials including cast iron, stainless steel, and steel, corresponding to ISO material groups K, M, and P. Secondary material group compatibility extends to non-ferrous metals (N) and heat-resistant superalloys (S). The 0.63-inch (16.00 mm) length of cut and straight-cylindrical shank with a 0.2953-inch shank diameter make it compatible with standard ER collet chucks and hydraulic toolholders used on vertical machining centers and CNC mills. The regular length type suits general-purpose applications where extended reach is not required.
Rated for use on cast iron, stainless steel, and steel (ISO groups K, M, P) with secondary compatibility for non-ferrous metals and heat-resistant superalloys (ISO groups N, S). Fits standard toolholders accepting a 0.2953-inch straight-cylindrical shank.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or CNC setup technicians. Always power down and lock out the spindle before inserting or removing end mills from the toolholder. Ensure the shank is fully seated to the correct insertion depth in the collet or chuck, and verify runout with a dial indicator before production cuts. Do not exceed the tool manufacturer's recommended speeds and feeds for the target workpiece material and coating type.
