The GUHRING 9036800030000 is a solid carbide square end mill engineered for precision milling in demanding metal-cutting applications. Built on GUHRING Series 3680, this single-end tool features a 3.00 mm (0.1181 inches) cutting diameter, a 20.00 mm (0.7874 inches) length of cut, and an overall length of 75.00 mm. The 30-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. The FIREX coating provides enhanced heat resistance and wear life, making this end mill well-suited for harder workpiece materials where uncoated carbide tools wear prematurely. Three right-hand spiral flutes deliver a balance of chip clearance and cutting edge strength at this diameter range.
This end mill is intended for use in CNC machining centers, manual mills, and toolroom operations where tight tolerances and fine surface finishes are required. The extra-long length of cut supports slotting and profiling in deeper pockets where standard-length tools cannot reach. With a 3.00 mm shank diameter matching the cutting diameter, it is suited for use with ER collet chucks and precision toolholders common in production and job-shop environments. Machinists and CNC programmers working with steel, stainless, and hard alloys will find the FIREX-coated carbide construction appropriate for their cutting strategies.
Designed as a direct-fitment tooling solution for CNC machining centers and manual knee mills using ER collet or precision shrink-fit toolholders accepting a 3.00 mm (0.1181 inches) shank diameter.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC tooling technician. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before loading or unloading the tool. Seat the shank fully and evenly in the collet to the recommended gauge-line depth to avoid runout and premature tool failure. Do not exceed the tool manufacturer's recommended speeds and feeds for the workpiece material and coating type.
