The GUHRING 9033040050000 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling in demanding metalworking applications. Part of the Series 3304 lineup, this single-end tool features a 0.1969-inch (5.00 mm) diameter with four spiral flutes and a 30-degree helix angle, producing clean cuts in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The bright, uncoated finish and right-hand cut with right-hand flute geometry make it a reliable choice for machinists running CNC or manual milling operations requiring tight tolerances. Centercutting capability allows direct plunging into the workpiece without pre-drilling.
This end mill is suited for milling cast iron, stainless steel, and steel, covering ISO material codes P, M, and K. Secondary applications include non-ferrous metals and superalloys (codes N and S). With a regular-length flute configuration, a 0.5118-inch (13.00 mm) length of cut, and a straight cylindrical shank with h6 tolerance, it fits standard collet and end-mill holders used in production and tool-room environments. The overall length of 50.00 mm keeps it compact for tight-clearance setups.
Designed for use in standard straight-bore collet chucks, shrink-fit holders, and Weldon-style end-mill holders accepting a 0.1969-inch (5.00 mm) shank diameter. Primary workpiece materials include cast iron, stainless steel, and steel; secondary materials include non-ferrous metals and superalloys per manufacturer material codes.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following shop safety protocols. Ensure the milling machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before mounting or removing the tool. Seat the shank fully into the holder to the recommended engagement depth and torque the collet or set screw to the tool-holder manufacturer specification. Inspect the cutting edges for chips or damage before each use, and verify runout with a dial indicator when dimensional accuracy is critical.
