The GUHRING 9031790095200 is a solid carbide corner chamfer end mill designed for precision finishing operations in demanding machining environments. With a 3/8 inch cutting diameter, 6 flutes, and a 45-degree helix angle, this single-end mill delivers smooth surface finishes and efficient chip evacuation. The 0.004 inch chamfer width and 45-degree chamfer angle produce controlled edge breaks on finished workpiece edges. A FIREX PVD coating — a TiAlN/TiN multilayer — extends tool life when cutting steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, and titanium. This tool is installed and operated by machinists and tool-and-die professionals working in close-tolerance production environments.
This end mill is suited for finishing applications including shouldering, slotting, ramp-down, helical interpolation, drill mill operations, and plunging and recessing. The centercutting geometry supports direct plunge entry. The close pitch configuration and right-hand flute direction make it well matched to CNC vertical and horizontal machining centers. Primary workpiece materials include steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, and titanium. Secondary workpiece materials include non-ferrous metals and hard materials. The straight cylindrical shank fits standard 3/8 inch collet chucks and end mill holders.
Designed for use in CNC machining centers with standard 3/8 inch straight-cylindrical collet chucks or end mill holders. Compatible primary workpiece materials are steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, and titanium; secondary materials include non-ferrous metals and hard materials.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists. Secure the shank fully within the holder to the minimum insertion depth recommended by the toolholder manufacturer before tightening. Verify spindle runout is within acceptable limits before beginning a cut, as excessive runout accelerates wear on multi-flute carbide tools. Do not exceed the machine spindle speed and feed parameters established for the workpiece material and depth of cut.
