The GUHRING 9031550095200 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision metal removal in demanding machining environments. Built to Series 3155 standards, it features a 0.375-inch cutting diameter, a 1.625-inch length of cut, and a 4-inch overall length, making it an extra-long reach tool suited for deeper pocketing and slotting operations. The FIREX coating provides enhanced heat and wear resistance, extending tool life in abrasive and high-temperature cutting conditions. Four right-hand spiral flutes with a 30-degree helix angle promote efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. This end mill is installed and operated by machinists and CNC tooling professionals.
This end mill is well-suited for milling cast iron, stainless steel, and steel workpieces, covering primary material grades K, M, and P. Its extra-long length of cut makes it effective in applications requiring reach beyond standard end mill proportions, including deep slots, pockets, and stepped features. The straight cylindrical shank with a 0.375-inch shank diameter allows direct mounting in standard collet chucks and end mill holders. Secondary material compatibility extends to non-ferrous and superalloy grades N and S, broadening its application range.
Designed for use in CNC machining centers and manual mills with standard collet or end mill holder systems accepting a 0.375-inch straight cylindrical shank. Primary workpiece materials include cast iron, stainless steel, and steel; secondary compatibility includes non-ferrous and superalloy materials.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC tooling technician. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in a safe, locked-out state before changing tooling. Seat the shank fully into the collet or tool holder and torque the retention hardware to the machine manufacturer's specifications. Verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning a cut, and confirm that spindle speed and feed rate are set appropriately for the workpiece material and depth of cut.
