The GUHRING 9031500190500 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Part of the Series 3150 line, this single-end tool features a 0.75 inch cutting diameter, a 1.5 inch length of cut, and a 4 inch overall length. The 30-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. Four spiral flutes with a right-hand cut and right-hand flute direction make this tool suitable for conventional and climb milling applications. The bright, uncoated finish indicates a ground carbide substrate ready for use as-supplied or for operators who apply their own coatings. Machinists and tool-and-die professionals select this end mill for tight-tolerance profiling, slotting, and peripheral milling work.
This end mill is suited for use on CNC machining centers and manual knee mills in job shop, production, and maintenance environments. The 0.75 inch shank diameter provides solid tool-holder engagement in standard end mill holders, collet chucks, and shrink-fit systems. Its regular-length geometry makes it appropriate for general-purpose milling where extended reach is not required. The non-centercutting design means plunge milling is not recommended; this tool is intended for ramping entry or pre-drilled pocket entry before side milling or slotting passes.
Designed as an OEM-style solid carbide square end mill for use in standard 0.75 inch end mill holders, collet chucks, and shrink-fit tooling systems on CNC and manual milling machines.
Installation and tool changes should be performed with the machine spindle fully stopped and the control in a locked or safe state. Ensure the tool holder bore and shank are clean and free of chips or coolant residue before clamping. Tighten retention hardware to the tool holder manufacturer's specified torque using calibrated tooling — do not over-torque collet nuts. Verify runout at the cutting diameter with a dial indicator before beginning a production cut, as excessive runout accelerates edge wear and reduces surface finish quality.
