The GUHRING 9031500035700 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling operations in metal and composite materials. Measuring 0.1406 inches in diameter with a 0.1875 inch shank and a 2 inch overall length, this tool fits standard collet systems used in CNC machining centers and manual mills. The 4-flute, 30-degree spiral helix geometry promotes efficient chip evacuation and surface finish on ferrous and non-ferrous workpieces. The bright, uncoated finish makes it well-suited for applications where coating is not required or where regrinding is anticipated. This tool is installed and operated by machinists and CNC programmers working in production and job-shop environments.
This end mill is used in light to medium milling passes on flat surfaces, shoulders, and slots. The 0.5 inch length of cut and single-end configuration make it appropriate for shallow-depth profiling and contouring operations. The right-hand flute and right-hand cut orientation is standard for conventional CNC spindle rotation. At 0.1406 inches diameter, this tool is suited for fine detail work, narrow slot milling, and close-tolerance features in die and mold applications, as well as general precision machining. It belongs to the Guhring Series 3150 solid carbide end mill line.
Designed as an OEM-style tooling solution from the Guhring Series 3150 solid carbide end mill line, compatible with standard 3/16 inch collet systems on CNC machining centers and manual milling machines accepting a 0.1875 inch shank diameter.
This end mill is installed by qualified machinists using a compatible collet or end mill holder rated for the 0.1875 inch shank diameter. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in a safe, locked-out state before changing tooling. Confirm collet runout is within acceptable tolerance before starting a cut, as excessive runout at this diameter will shorten tool life and degrade surface finish. Follow the machine manufacturer and tool manufacturer feeds-and-speeds recommendations for the specific workpiece material.
