The GUHRING 9029030080040 is a spiral point tap designed for through-hole threading in metric fine applications. Built from powdered metal high-speed steel with a TiCN coating, it delivers extended tool life and improved wear resistance compared to standard HSS taps. The plug chamfer eases entry into pre-drilled holes, and the 4-flute spiral point geometry pushes chips forward ahead of the cutting zone. This tap is sized for M8x0.75 threads with a 6HX class of fit, right-hand thread direction, and a D4/D5 thread limit. It is installed by machinists, tool and die makers, and precision fabricators working in production or maintenance environments.

This tap is suited for through-hole threading in ferrous and non-ferrous materials where a metric fine M8x0.75 thread is required. The 90 mm overall length and 8 mm shank diameter fit standard tap holders and machine spindles.
