Built from submicron-grade solid carbide, this bit carries a Titanium Nitride (TiN) coating that improves surface hardness and extends tool life in demanding cutting environments. The 130-degree split point and web-thinned, tapered web geometry reduce entry force and improve centering on the workpiece. With a parabolic flute design and an overall length of 73.03 mm, this drill delivers efficient chip evacuation at depth. This bit is engineered primarily for aluminum and non-ferrous materials, with workpiece material codes K, N, and P indicating suitability for aluminum alloys, non-ferrous metals, and some plastics. The straight-cylindrical shank fits standard drill chucks and collet systems without modification. Installation and use should be performed by qualified machinists or tooling technicians. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the tool holder is clean and free of debris before securing the bit in the chuck or collet. Do not exceed the rated maximum drilling depth of 39.95 mm per pass without retracting to clear chips. Inspect the cutting edges before each use — solid carbide tooling is rigid but brittle and should not be used on surfaces with significant scale, interrupted cuts, or hardened steels outside the specified material grades.
