The GUHRING 9026010055600 is a solid carbide jobber length drill bit designed for precision drilling in aluminum and non-ferrous materials. Built to Series 2601 standards, it features a 7/32 inch (0.2188 inch) diameter, a 130-degree drill point angle, and a parabolic flute geometry that promotes efficient chip evacuation. The bright uncoated finish is suited for aluminum applications where coating adhesion is not required. At 3.75 inches overall length with a 2.5 inch flute length, this bit fits standard drill chucks and machining centers used in production and maintenance environments. Licensed machinists and tool-and-die professionals are the primary users of this drill.
This drill bit is rated for aluminum as its primary workpiece material, with material grade codes K, N, and P indicating suitability for aluminum, non-ferrous metals, and some plastics. The parabolic flute design with an 8xD flute-to-diameter ratio supports deeper hole profiles with fewer peck cycles. Maximum drilling depth is 2.239 inches (56.86 mm). The straight-cylindrical shank with a 7/32 inch diameter fits standard collets and keyless chucks without modification. It is appropriate for use in CNC machining centers, drill presses, and hand-held pneumatic or electric drills in light-production and maintenance environments.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-use solid carbide jobber drill for production and maintenance drilling applications in aluminum and non-ferrous materials, compatible with standard 7/32 inch straight-shank collets and drill chucks conforming to ANSI standards.
Installation and use of this drill bit should be performed by qualified machinists or tool operators familiar with carbide tooling. Secure the workpiece and confirm chuck or collet grip before starting the spindle, as carbide is brittle and susceptible to breakage from lateral deflection or improper clamping. Do not use this bit without confirming spindle speed and feed rate are appropriate for carbide tooling in the intended workpiece material. Inspect the cutting edge for chipping before each use and replace if edge integrity is compromised.
