The GUHRING 9026010048000 is a jobber-length drill bit in wire gauge size No. 12, with a decimal diameter of 0.1890 inches and an overall length of 3.5000 inches (88.90 mm). Built from submicron-grade solid carbide with a bright, uncoated finish, this bit runs a 130-degree standard point angle and a parabolic flute geometry. The two-flute, right-hand-cut design belongs to GUHRING Series 2601. It is intended for use by machinists, tool-and-die professionals, and CNC operators who require tight tolerance drilling in non-ferrous and similar materials. The diameter tolerance is held to +0.000 to -0.018 mm, making it suitable for precision hole applications.
This drill bit is rated for primary use in aluminum and other non-ferrous workpiece materials (material codes K, N, P). The parabolic flute profile aids chip evacuation during deeper drilling passes. The flute-to-diameter ratio is 8xD, with a maximum drilling depth of 2.0830 inches (52.90 mm). The straight-cylindrical shank with a diameter of 0.1890 inches seats in standard drill chucks and collets without modification. This bit does not support coolant-through delivery and is suited to conventional flood or mist coolant setups when drilling at depth.
Designed for use in CNC machining centers, drill presses, and hand-held drilling equipment with standard drill chucks or ER collets that accept a 0.1890-inch straight-cylindrical shank. Primary workpiece compatibility is aluminum and non-ferrous materials per material codes K, N, and P.
Secure the shank fully in the chuck or collet before operation and verify runout before beginning a drilling cycle. Follow machine manufacturer guidelines and applicable ANSI safety standards when setting spindle speed and feed rate for carbide tooling. Solid carbide bits are brittle compared to HSS — avoid side-loading or using in hand drilling applications where bit deflection is likely. Inspect the cutting edges before each use; carbide chips rather than bends, and a chipped edge should be replaced before continuing.
