The GUHRING 9024580027800 is a cobalt jobber-length drill bit designed for high-performance drilling in demanding materials. It features a 130-degree cone relief point for improved self-centering entry and reduced walking on hard surfaces. The drill is coated with FIREX, a multilayer PVD coating that increases surface hardness and heat resistance, extending tool life in abrasive and high-temperature applications. The straight-cylindrical shank measures 2.78 mm (0.1094 inches) in diameter and is compatible with standard drill chucks. Manufactured to DIN 338 standards with an h8 diameter tolerance, this bit is built for precision work in trade and production environments.
This drill bit is suited for drilling titanium alloy (ISO material group M and S) as well as other high-strength metals commonly encountered in aerospace, industrial maintenance, and precision fabrication work. The 7/64-inch (0.1094-inch) diameter, 2-flute spiral configuration with a regular spiral type provides efficient chip evacuation during drilling. The overall length is 61.00 mm with a flute length of 33.00 mm and a maximum drilling depth of 28.83 mm (1.135 inches).
