The GUHRING 9014520144000 is a solid carbide jobber length drill bit designed for precision hole-making in demanding materials. Built to DIN 6539 standards, it features a 14.4 mm (0.5669 inch) diameter, a 150-degree standard point angle, and a three-flute spiral configuration that promotes chip evacuation and hole quality in harder workpiece materials. The bright finish provides a clean, uncoated surface suited to applications where coating buildup or chemical interaction with cutting fluids is a concern. The web-thinned, tapered web design reduces entry force and improves point centering. This bit is installed by machinists and tool-and-die tradespeople operating CNC machining centers, drill presses, and manual machines requiring tight-tolerance bores.
This drill bit suits production and maintenance machining operations where dimensional accuracy is critical. The submicron carbide grade delivers the hardness and edge retention needed for drilling cast iron, hardened steel, stainless, and similar ferrous and non-ferrous alloys. With a 70 mm (2.7559 inch) flute length and 111 mm (4.3701 inch) overall length, it fits standard jobber-length toolholders and chucks. Right-hand cut with a straight-cylindrical shank makes it compatible with conventional drill chucks and ER-style collet systems without modification.
Designed as an OEM-specification jobber length drill bit conforming to DIN 6539, suitable for use in standard drill chucks and collet systems accepting a 14.4 mm straight-cylindrical shank within the 12.50 mm to 15.00 mm diameter range.
This drill bit is intended for use by qualified machinists in machine tool applications. Ensure the spindle and workpiece are fully secured and the machine is at a complete stop before changing tooling. Verify chuck or collet runout is within acceptable tolerance before operation, as excessive runout will reduce tool life and bore accuracy. Follow applicable shop safety procedures and machine manufacturer guidelines when setting speeds, feeds, and cutting fluid application for carbide tooling.
