Built from cobalt high-speed steel with a bright finish, it cuts M24 x 2 metric fine threads to a 6H class of fit with a D6/D7 thread limit. The plug chamfer eases entry into the cut and makes this tap well suited to production and maintenance threading operations. At 140 mm overall length with an 18 mm shank diameter, it fits standard tap holders and CNC rigid tapping setups used in machining shops and industrial maintenance environments. Four flutes provide chip clearance and cutting efficiency in through-hole applications.

This tap is intended for through-hole threading operations in steel workpieces where metric fine M24 x 2 threads are required.
