The GUHRING 9008110070000 is a cobalt spiral flute tap designed for metric blind hole threading in demanding materials. Built to M7 x 1.00 specification with a 3-flute, right-hand spiral configuration and a 40-degree helix angle, it evacuates chips efficiently in deep blind holes. The modified bottoming chamfer allows threading close to the bottom of a hole. Sized to 6H class of fit with a D4/D5 thread limit, it produces threads within standard tolerance for general fastener applications. The bright, uncoated cobalt construction delivers hardness and heat resistance suited to difficult-to-machine steels.
