The GUHRING 9008030025000 is a spiral point tap designed for through-hole threading in metric applications. Built from cobalt high-speed steel with a bright finish, this tap cuts M2.5 x 0.45 threads to a 6H class of fit and D2/D3 thread limit. The three-flute, plug chamfer design pushes chips forward ahead of the cutting zone, making it well suited for production threading in through-hole configurations. With an overall length of 50 millimeters and a shank diameter of 2.80 millimeters, the tap fits standard collet and tap-holder tooling used in CNC and manual machining operations. Right-hand thread direction is standard for this configuration.
