The GUHRING 9007680130000 is a straight-flute, solid carbide drill bit engineered for high-performance drilling in aluminum and non-ferrous materials. Built from submicron carbide stock with a bright, uncoated finish, this bit delivers clean, precise holes in demanding production environments. It carries a 13.00 mm (0.5118 inch) cutting diameter with a 120-degree standard point and a web-thinned tip geometry that reduces thrust and improves chip evacuation at entry. Coolant-through capability via a round coolant-hole channel allows internal flood cooling, extending tool life and maintaining dimensional accuracy on deep-hole passes. Licensed and experienced machinists and CNC operators are the primary users for this tool.
This drill bit is optimized for aluminum as the primary workpiece material, and is also rated for aluminum alloy and cast iron secondary applications. With a 4xD flute-by-diameter ratio and a maximum drilling depth of 54.50 mm (2.146 inches), it is well-suited for production drilling on CNC machining centers, transfer lines, and automated cells where consistent hole quality and tight tolerances are required. The 14.00 mm shank diameter conforms to DIN 6535HA specification, making it compatible with standard precision collet chucks and hydraulic toolholders used in industrial machining.
Designed for use with DIN 6535HA-compliant toolholders. Primary workpiece material is aluminum (material grade code K, N); secondary materials include aluminum alloy and cast iron. UNSPSC code 23241600.
Installation and use of this tool should be performed by qualified machinists or CNC programmers familiar with carbide tooling requirements. Secure the shank fully in a precision collet or hydraulic chuck rated for the 14.00 mm shank diameter before operation. Verify spindle runout is within acceptable limits before engaging the workpiece, as excessive runout will damage carbide cutting edges. Engage internal coolant supply before starting the cut when drilling to maximum depth.
