The GUHRING 9007680085000 is a solid carbide straight-flute die drill bit engineered for high-performance drilling in non-ferrous and light alloy materials. Built to Series 768 standards and conforming to DIN 6535HA shank specification, this bit features a 120-degree point angle, web-thinned tip geometry, and through-coolant capability via a round coolant-hole configuration. The submicron carbide grade provides the edge retention needed for tight-tolerance production work. With an uncoated finish and a diameter tolerance of +0.006 to +0.021 mm, this drill is suited for applications demanding precise hole sizing in aluminum and similar materials. This drill bit is designed primarily for cutting aluminum, aluminum alloys, and cast iron in production or job-shop environments where consistent hole quality and tool life are critical. Installation and operation should be performed by qualified machinists or toolroom personnel familiar with carbide tooling. Ensure the machine spindle and toolholder are clean and within runout tolerance before seating the DIN 6535HA shank to prevent edge chipping. Activate through-coolant supply before engaging the cut to maintain proper chip evacuation and thermal control.
