The GUHRING 9007320054100 is a solid carbide jobber length drill bit in wire gauge size 3, equivalent to 0.2130 inches in decimal diameter. Built to DIN specification, this Series 732 bit features a 118-degree faceted point, a spiral flute design, and a web-thinned tip for reduced thrust and cleaner entry. The straight-cylindrical shank measures 5.41 mm in diameter and seats securely in standard drill chucks. At 93 mm overall length with a 57 mm flute length, it is proportioned for general-purpose drilling in production and maintenance environments. Licensed machinists, tool-and-die technicians, and HVAC or sheet-metal tradespeople working with non-ferrous materials will find this bit well-suited to their needs.
This drill bit is rated for primary use in aluminum and other non-ferrous workpiece materials, designated by material code N. The solid carbide construction provides the rigidity needed when drilling at higher speeds in these materials. It is appropriate for use in CNC machining centers, drill presses, and hand-held power drills where a jobber-length bit is called for. The 5xD flute-to-diameter ratio and right-hand spiral flute geometry support efficient chip evacuation during through-hole and blind-hole operations. Coolant-through is not supported on this model.
Designed as a general-purpose jobber length drill bit for use in applications requiring wire gauge size 3 (0.2130 inches) cutting diameter, within the 0.2000 to 0.2500 inch drill bit size range.
Installation and use of this drill bit should be performed by qualified machinists or tradespeople familiar with cutting tool handling. Ensure the spindle or drill press is de-energized and fully stopped before inserting or removing the bit from the chuck. Inspect the cutting edges for chipping before each use, as carbide tools can fracture if dropped or mishandled. Follow the tool manufacturer and machine OEM recommendations for speeds and feeds appropriate to the workpiece material.
