The GUHRING 9007320051100 is a solid carbide jobber length drill bit sized to wire gauge number 7, with a decimal diameter of 0.2012 inches. It features a 118-degree faceted drill point and a bright, uncoated finish. The two-flute, right-hand spiral design provides accurate hole entry and efficient chip evacuation. With an overall length of 86 millimeters and a flute length of 52 millimeters, this bit handles general-purpose drilling tasks in non-ferrous materials. It carries a straight-cylindrical shank and is manufactured to DIN standards with an h8 diameter tolerance, making it a reliable choice for precision drilling in production and maintenance environments.
This drill bit is rated for primary use in aluminum and other non-ferrous workpiece materials designated under material code N. The 5xD flute-to-diameter ratio and web-thinned point reduce thrust and improve centering on entry, making it well suited for close-tolerance drilling in machine shop, HVAC fabrication, and general metalworking applications. It is designed for use in standard drill presses, CNC machining centers, and hand-held power tools with compatible collet or chuck systems. The maximum drilling depth is 1.746 inches (44.34 millimeters).
Designed as a general-purpose jobber length drill bit for use in standard straight-shank drill chucks and collet holders accepting a 0.2012-inch (5.11 millimeter) shank diameter, compatible with drill presses, milling machines, and CNC equipment configured for straight-cylindrical shank tooling.
Installation and use should be performed by qualified machinists or trade professionals familiar with rotary cutting tool safety. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the tool is securely clamped in the chuck or collet before beginning any operation. Verify spindle speed and feed rate are appropriate for solid carbide tooling in the intended workpiece material before drilling. Do not use this bit on hardened steels or materials outside its rated application range, as carbide tooling is brittle and susceptible to fracture under improper loading.
