The GUHRING 9007320030000 is a solid carbide jobber-length drill bit designed for precise, repeatable hole-making in general-purpose machining applications. Built to DIN specifications, this Series 732 bit features a 118-degree faceted point angle with web thinning for improved center-starting and reduced thrust. The straight-cylindrical shank measures 3 mm in diameter with an h8 tolerance, and the overall length is 61 mm (approximately 2.402 inches). Two spiral flutes with a 5xD flute-to-diameter ratio evacuate chips efficiently. The bright, uncoated finish makes wear inspection straightforward during service intervals. Machinists, tool-and-die techs, and CNC operators working in job shop or production environments will find this bit suited to daily drilling tasks.
This drill bit is optimized for use in aluminum and other non-ferrous materials, matching its N-category primary workpiece material designation. The 3 mm cutting diameter and 33 mm flute length (approximately 1.299 inches) support a maximum drilling depth of 28.5 mm (approximately 1.122 inches). Regular spiral geometry and right-hand cut make it compatible with standard drill presses, CNC machining centers, and hand-held power tools equipped with a 3 mm or equivalent collet or chuck. General-purpose grade construction is appropriate for prototype work, production runs, and maintenance machining alike.
Designed as a general-purpose OEM-style solid carbide jobber drill bit for use in standard 3 mm collets, ER collet systems, and keyless or keyed chucks accepting straight-cylindrical shanks. Primary workpiece material designation is aluminum (N-category non-ferrous materials).
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or tooling technician. Secure the shank fully within the collet or chuck to the recommended grip depth before operation, and verify runout with a dial indicator when tolerances are critical. Solid carbide tooling is brittle and susceptible to breakage from side loading or interrupted cuts — avoid using this bit in applications requiring lateral force. Follow the machine manufacturer and applicable shop-safety guidelines when setting spindle speeds and feed rates for the workpiece material.
