The GUHRING 9007320026000 is a jobber length drill bit designed for precise, general-purpose drilling in aluminum and other non-ferrous materials. Built from solid carbide with a bright, uncoated finish, this bit delivers consistent performance in light machining and fabrication environments. It features a 118-degree faceted point angle and a web-thinned tip to reduce entry force and improve chip evacuation. The 2-flute right-hand spiral configuration promotes clean, efficient cutting. With an overall length of 57 millimeters and a flute length of 30 millimeters, it fits standard jobber-length toolholders and drill chucks used by machinists and toolroom technicians.
This drill bit is suited for drilling aluminum and similar non-ferrous workpiece materials in both production and maintenance machining applications. The straight-cylindrical shank with an h8 diameter tolerance ensures a secure, repeatable fit in standard drill chucks and collet holders. The 5xD flute-to-diameter ratio supports drilling depths up to approximately 26.10 millimeters, making it appropriate for through-holes and moderate-depth blind holes in light-duty setups. It is sold individually and intended for bench drill presses, CNC machining centers, and handheld power drill applications.
Designed as a general-purpose jobber length drill bit in the GUHRING Series 732 line, suitable for use in standard drill chucks and collet systems accepting a 2.60 millimeter straight-cylindrical shank. Primary workpiece material code N indicates suitability for aluminum and non-ferrous metals.
Installation and use should be performed by a qualified machinist or toolroom technician. Before changing or seating the bit, power down and lock out the machine per applicable OSHA lockout/tagout procedures. Ensure the chuck or collet is clean and undamaged before inserting the shank, and tighten to manufacturer-specified chuck torque for the toolholder in use. Coolant-through is not supported on this bit; use external coolant or cutting fluid as appropriate for the workpiece material.
