The GUHRING 9007320015900 is a solid carbide jobber-length drill bit designed for precision drilling in metalworking and general-purpose machining applications. Built from DK120 carbide grade material with a bright, uncoated finish, this bit delivers consistent performance in a compact 1.5748-inch overall length. The 118-degree faceted point angle and web-thinned, tapered web construction reduce entry force and improve chip evacuation on the initial cut. At 1/16 inch (0.0625 inches) diameter, it suits fine-bore work where rigidity and dimensional accuracy are critical. Licensed machinists, tool-and-die techs, and precision fabricators are the primary users of this series.
The 9007320015900 belongs to GUHRING Series 732, a general-purpose carbide drill line rated for use on aluminum and other non-ferrous and ferrous materials designated under material grade code N. The 5xD flute-to-diameter ratio and regular spiral flute geometry make it well suited to CNC machining centers, drill presses, and manual milling setups requiring repeatable hole quality at small diameters. It carries no coolant-through feature, so flood or mist coolant applied externally at the cutting zone is the recommended approach for heat management during extended runs.
Designed as a general-purpose OEM-style jobber drill bit within the GUHRING Series 732 line, suitable for use in any standard collet chuck or drill chuck accepting a 1/16-inch straight-cylindrical shank.
Installation and use of this drill bit should be performed by qualified machinists or trade professionals familiar with CNC or manual drilling equipment. Secure the straight-cylindrical shank firmly in a properly sized collet or keyless chuck before operation and verify runout before beginning a drilling cycle. No coolant-through path is present, so apply external flood or mist coolant directly to the cutting zone when drilling ferrous or abrasive materials to manage heat buildup. Inspect the cutting edges for chipping or wear before each use, as carbide tooling at small diameters is susceptible to breakage if used in a worn or misaligned spindle.
