The GUHRING 9006510028200 is a jobber length twist drill bit designed for general-purpose drilling in ferrous materials including cast iron and steel. It is manufactured from high speed steel with a titanium nitride (TiN) coating that extends tool life by reducing friction and heat buildup at the cutting edge. The bit is wire size 34, with a decimal diameter of 0.1110 inches, and features a 118-degree cone relief point with web thinning for easier penetration and reduced thrust. Overall length is 61.00 millimeters with a flute length of 33.00 millimeters. This bit is intended for use by machinists, maintenance technicians, and trade professionals working with metalworking equipment.
This drill bit is suited for production and maintenance drilling applications in cast iron and steel workpieces, consistent with its Series 651 general-purpose classification under DIN 338. The straight-cylindrical shank with a diameter of 2.82 millimeters fits standard drill chucks used on bench drills, CNC drilling centers, and handheld drill motors. The regular spiral flute design provides reliable chip evacuation during through-hole and blind-hole drilling at standard cutting speeds for HSS tooling. Maximum drilling depth is 28.77 millimeters. Coolant-through is not supported on this bit.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-use jobber drill bit for applications requiring a wire size 34 drill in cast iron and steel. Primary workpiece material codes K and P per DIN classification apply.
Install and remove drill bits only after the spindle has come to a complete stop and the machine is de-energized or the trigger is locked out. Secure the straight-cylindrical shank firmly in the chuck to the full depth of the chuck jaws to prevent slippage and runout. Do not exceed the recommended feed and speed parameters for HSS tooling in the target workpiece material. Inspect the cutting edges for wear or chipping before each use and replace the bit if the TiN coating is fully worn through at the cutting edge.
