The GUHRING 9005350028700 is a taper length twist drill bit in the Series 535 high-performance lineup, manufactured from bright uncoated high-speed steel. It cuts wire gauge size 33, equal to 0.1130 inch decimal diameter, with a 130-degree standard point angle optimized for clean entry and reduced walking. The parabolic flute geometry promotes efficient chip evacuation, and the web-thinned, parallel web construction reduces thrust during drilling. Flute length is 2-19/32 inches with an overall length of 3-15/16 inches. The straight cylindrical shank seats in standard drill chucks. Licensed HVAC, mechanical, sheet metal, and general machining trades use this bit for precision hole work in aluminum alloy, cast iron, and steel.
This drill bit is suited to production and maintenance drilling in light fabrication shops, HVAC and mechanical contracting shops, and machine maintenance environments. The taper length body provides added reach compared to a jobber-length bit, making it useful for drilling through thicker stock or accessing recessed bore locations. The 10xD flute-length-to-diameter ratio supports drilling to a maximum depth of 2.4290 inches. Material applications include aluminum alloy, cast iron, and steel, covering a broad range of structural and sheet components encountered in trade work.
Designed as an OEM-style taper length drill bit for use in standard drill chucks and compatible drilling equipment accepting a 0.1130 inch straight cylindrical shank. Suitable for aluminum alloy, cast iron, and steel workpiece materials per manufacturer specification.
Installation is performed by machinists, tool-and-die technicians, sheet metal workers, and mechanical trade professionals using standard drill press or hand-drill equipment. Secure the straight cylindrical shank fully into the chuck and verify concentricity before starting the cut. Always wear appropriate eye protection and secure the workpiece before drilling. Follow applicable OSHA and shop safety codes when operating rotary cutting tools.
