Built from powdered metal (PM) with a FIREX coating, this bit delivers extended tool life in demanding production environments. The 130-degree split point with cone relief geometry reduces thrust and improves self-centering on entry. A parabolic flute with fast spiral design accelerates chip evacuation, reducing heat buildup and the risk of re-cutting chips. Overall length is 1.69 inches with a 0.79-inch flute length, making it well-suited for precision drilling in tight clearances where a standard jobber geometry is required.
This drill bit is rated for primary use in cast iron and steel workpieces, covering material codes K and P in cutting material classifications. The straight-cylindrical shank (1.61 mm diameter) fits standard drill chucks without a reducer.
