The GUHRING 9003010014300 is a cobalt micro drill bit engineered for precision drilling in tight-tolerance applications. Built to DIN 1899 standards, it carries a 1.43 mm diameter with a diameter tolerance of +0.000 to -0.004 mm, making it suitable where dimensional accuracy is critical. The 118-degree faceted point geometry, combined with web thinning and a tapered web configuration, reduces entry force and improves centering at the start of the cut. With a 25 mm overall length and a 9.50 mm spiral flute, this bit is sized for micro-bore work in production machining, toolroom, and precision fabrication environments. Licensed machinists and CNC operators are the primary users.
The 9003010014300 is rated primarily for aluminum (material code K, M, N, P) and secondarily for titanium alloy (material code S). Its 5xD flute-to-diameter ratio and regular spiral flute type support consistent chip evacuation in both short-run and production drilling cycles. Typical install scenarios include CNC machining centers, drill presses, and precision hand-held fixtures where straight-cylindrical shank tooling is required. Maximum recommended drilling depth is 7.36 mm (0.2900 inches). Coolant-through is not supported on this design.
Designed as an OEM-specification replacement or direct tooling selection for applications requiring DIN 1899 straight-shank micro drill bits with a 1.50 mm straight-cylindrical shank. Suitable for use in standard collet chucks and drill chucks accepting that shank diameter.
Micro drill bits at this diameter are fragile — secure the shank firmly in a collet or precision chuck rated for 1.50 mm straight shanks before starting the spindle. Confirm runout is minimized, as excess runout accelerates breakage at sub-2 mm diameters. Follow machine manufacturer guidelines for spindle speed and feed rate when drilling aluminum or titanium alloy. Inspect the cutting edges under magnification before and after use to detect chipping early.
