The GUARDAIR 74GLVZ is a low volume air blow gun designed for controlled compressed air discharge in industrial and maintenance applications. Built with a zinc body and zinc nozzle, it accepts a 1/4 NPT female inlet and delivers 10 standard cubic feet per minute (SCFM) at a measured noise level of 71 decibels. The low volume tip design reduces air consumption while maintaining sufficient force for clearing chips, debris, and dust from workpieces and equipment. Licensed HVAC techs, plumbers, and maintenance professionals use blow guns like this for purging lines, clearing debris from equipment, and general shop work.
The 74GLVZ suits light-duty industrial, mechanical, and trade shop environments where a compact, low-noise blow gun is needed. At 6.7 inches in overall length and under one pound, it handles easily in tight spaces. The 1/4 NPT inlet threads directly onto standard compressed air lines and quick-connect fittings common in commercial and residential shop setups. The operating temperature range of -30 degrees F to 180 degrees F makes it suitable for both cold storage facilities and warm shop environments.
Designed for use with standard 1/4 NPT compressed air supply lines and quick-connect systems common in trade and industrial shop environments.
Installation is performed by connecting the 1/4 NPT female inlet directly to a threaded male compressed air outlet or quick-connect adapter. Depressurize the air line before attaching or removing the blow gun. Always point the nozzle away from personnel during connection and operation. Follow OSHA 29 CFR 1910.242(b) guidelines governing the use of compressed air for cleaning purposes.
