At the core of the kit is the Intelli-Punch 11-ton hydraulic tool, powered by two 18V 3.0Ah lithium-ion batteries. The set covers a punch hole diameter range of 0.88 to 4.5445 inches and is rated for 10-gauge stainless steel and 10-gauge mild steel. Electricians and electrical contractors use this set for conduit knockouts in metal enclosures, junction boxes, and switchgear panels where clean, burr-free holes are required to maintain code-compliant conduit entries.
This set is built for commercial and industrial electrical work where multiple conduit sizes need to be punched in the field or in the shop. The included SlugBuster punches and dies cover 1/2 inch through 3 inch plus 4 inch conduit sizes, making it suitable for the full range of common conduit entries. Designed for use with standard conduit knockout applications across 1/2 inch through 3 inch plus 4 inch conduit sizes. Punches and dies are SlugBuster style and are compatible with Greenlee hydraulic knockout tooling of the same draw stud specification, including 3/8 inch and 3/4 inch draw studs as supplied.
This tool is typically operated by licensed electricians in accordance with NEC guidelines for conduit entry and enclosure preparation. Before punching, de-energize and lock out any panel or enclosure being worked on. Ensure the correct punch and die combination is selected for the target conduit trade size before applying hydraulic pressure. Inspect draw studs and dies for wear or damage prior to each use to prevent tool failure or material deformation.
