The GREENLEE 405 is a rope stand designed for wire and cable pulling in electrical installations. It holds and dispenses 250 feet of 3/16-inch pulling rope, keeping the rope organized and tangle-free on the job site. The stand format allows free rotation during pulls, reducing kinks and snags that slow down installation work. Licensed electricians and electrical contractors use this tool on commercial and residential projects where controlled rope feeding is critical to efficient wire pulls.
The 405 is suited for conduit wire-pulling applications in both new construction and retrofit electrical work. It supports workflows where a separate rope stand is staged at the feed point while the pulling device operates at the opposite end of the conduit run. The 250-foot capacity covers typical floor-to-floor or long horizontal conduit runs without splicing or resetting the rope supply.
Designed as a standard rope stand for use with 3/16-inch pulling rope in residential and commercial electrical conduit pulling applications.
This product is installed and used by licensed electricians and electrical contractors. Position the stand at the feed end of the conduit run before beginning the pull. Ensure the rope feeds freely from the stand without binding against enclosures or edges. Follow all applicable NEC guidelines and job-site safety protocols when performing wire and cable pulling operations.
