The GREENFIELD 311-1-1/2 is a single-piece strut clamp designed to secure 1-1/2 inch nominal pipe or rigid conduit to standard strut channel in electrical and mechanical support systems. Constructed from heavy-duty steel with an electro-galvanized (EG) finish, it provides solid corrosion resistance in both indoor and exposed-location installations. The one-piece design eliminates loose hardware and speeds up the mounting process. Sized for 1-1/2 inch nominal pipe size with a 1.9 inch outside diameter, it seats consistently against the strut channel flange without adjustment. Electricians and mechanical contractors install this clamp during rough-in and system-support work on conduit runs and pipe hanging applications.
This clamp is suited for use in commercial and industrial electrical installations, mechanical rooms, and utility spaces where conduit or pipe must be anchored to unistrut-style channel. It fits 1-1/2 inch nominal pipe size with a 1.9 inch OD, covering standard rigid metal conduit and same-size piping. The compact profile — measuring 1.5 inches in length and 1.25 inches in width — allows installation in tight strut layouts without interference. It is part of the Greenfield Manufacturing Co. Clamps, Hangers, Struts and Fasteners product family and is a practical choice for routine conduit support work on new construction and retrofit projects.
Designed as a direct-fit strut clamp for 1-1/2 inch nominal pipe size rigid conduit or pipe with a 1.9 inch outside diameter, for use with standard strut channel systems.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed electrician or pipefitter following applicable NEC or IPC guidelines for conduit and pipe support spacing. De-energize all circuits in the work area before attaching clamps to energized conduit runs. Position the clamp over the strut channel flange and secure with the appropriate strut nut and hardware per the support system specification. Inspect the electro-galvanized finish for damage before installation in environments with elevated moisture exposure.
