The GREENFIELD 304-34 is a galvanized clevis hanger designed to support stationary horizontal piping in plumbing and mechanical installations. Built for a 3/4 inch pipe capacity, it accepts a 3/8 inch threaded rod and carries a 250-pound load rating, making it a dependable fastening point for suspended pipe runs. The galvanized finish provides corrosion resistance suited to damp or exposed mechanical spaces. At 0.2 pounds, the hanger is lightweight without sacrificing structural integrity. Plumbers and pipefitters use this style of hanger as a standard component when routing pipe through ceilings, floor joists, or structural steel framing.
The 304-34 clevis hanger is used in residential and commercial plumbing, mechanical piping, and HVAC hydronic systems where horizontal pipe must be suspended from above. It is appropriate for installations requiring a fixed, non-insulated pipe support at the 3/4 inch nominal pipe size. The compact footprint — 2 inches long by 2.25 inches wide by 1.05 inches tall — allows installation in tight framing bays or congested mechanical spaces where clearance is limited.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard-fit clevis hanger for 3/4 inch nominal pipe in residential and commercial plumbing and mechanical piping systems.
Installation is performed by licensed plumbers or pipefitters in accordance with IPC and applicable local mechanical codes. Shut off the relevant piping system and relieve pressure before positioning hangers on an active line. Use properly sized threaded rod anchored to structural members rated for the intended load. Do not exceed the 250 lb rated load capacity of the hanger.
