The GREENFIELD 220-2 is a plastic-coated DWV hanger strap designed to support 2-inch iron pipe size drain, waste, and vent piping. Formed from 16-gauge galvanized steel and covered with a protective plastic coating, this strap resists corrosion while preventing direct metal-to-pipe contact that can accelerate wear on plastic or coated pipe systems. The strap measures 3/4 inch wide and 12 inches in length, giving installers enough material to wrap and secure pipe to framing members in standard residential and light commercial applications. Plumbers and pipefitters are the primary installers of this hardware.

This strap is suited for DWV system rough-in work where 2-inch iron pipe size lines must be secured to floor joists, ceiling framing, or wall studs. The plastic coating makes it appropriate for use with pipe materials that are sensitive to bare metal contact. It is sold individually and is manufactured in the USA. An uncoated version is also available for applications where the protective sleeve is not required.
