The GREEN LEAF SE 34 P is a 3/4 inch polypropylene 90-degree street elbow designed for threaded pipe systems in plumbing and fluid-handling applications. Molded from black polypropylene, this fitting connects a male iron pipe thread (MIPT) on one end to a female iron pipe thread (FIPT) on the other, allowing a compact directional change without an additional nipple. The fitting carries both NSF 61 and NSF 372 certifications, confirming it meets standards for drinking water system components and lead-free compliance. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters install this type of street elbow wherever a 90-degree turn is needed in a tight space within a threaded polypropylene line.
This street elbow is suited for residential and light commercial plumbing installations where polypropylene fittings are specified. The black color and polypropylene construction offer resistance to many chemicals, making it a practical choice for water distribution, irrigation manifolds, and chemical-handling systems that call for non-metallic threaded fittings at 3/4 inch pipe size. The MIPT x FIPT configuration allows it to thread directly onto a pipe end on the male side, reducing the number of fittings required to complete a 90-degree turn.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fitting for 3/4 inch threaded polypropylene pipe systems requiring a 90-degree street elbow with MIPT x FIPT connections.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and IPC guidelines. Shut off and depressurize the water supply completely before removing or installing any threaded fittings. Apply an appropriate thread sealant or PTFE tape to the male threads before assembly, and hand-tighten followed by wrench tightening — do not overtighten polypropylene fittings, as the material can crack under excessive torque. Inspect the completed joint for leaks before returning the system to service.
