Green Leaf G 3412 Garden Hose Adapter Fpt Nylon 0.5 Inch

Product Description

The GREEN LEAF G 3412 is a nylon garden hose adapter designed to connect a male hose thread to a female pipe thread (FPT) fitting. It accepts a 0.5 inch hose diameter and is built for use in irrigation, water supply, and general plumbing applications where a threaded hose-to-pipe transition is required. The nylon construction resists corrosion and keeps weight low, making it a practical choice for both permanent installations and temporary setups. Licensed plumbers and irrigation technicians commonly install this type of adapter when transitioning between hose and pipe thread systems.

This adapter is suited for residential and light commercial applications involving garden hose connections to FPT-threaded ports. Typical uses include connecting garden hoses to threaded spigots, irrigation manifolds, pressure washers, and outdoor water supply lines. The male hose to female pipe configuration makes it a direct-fit solution wherever a GHT-to-FPT transition is needed on a 0.5 inch line.

Key Features

• Male hose thread to female pipe thread (FPT) configuration for hose-to-pipe transitions
• Compatible with 0.5 inch hose diameter
• Nylon construction resists corrosion and chemical exposure
• Lightweight design suitable for both permanent and seasonal installations
• Compact form factor minimizes flow restriction at the connection point

Compatibility

Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation adapter for 0.5 inch garden hose-to-FPT pipe thread connections in residential and light commercial water supply and irrigation systems.

Installation Notes

This adapter is typically installed by plumbers or irrigation technicians working on hose bib and pipe thread connections. Shut off the water supply before installation and relieve any line pressure before disassembly. Hand-tighten first, then use pliers or a strap wrench as needed — avoid overtightening nylon fittings as the material can crack under excess torque. Installations should comply with applicable local plumbing codes.
