The GREE CON18HP230V1R32AH is an 18,000 BTU/h console-style indoor air handler designed for single-zone ductless mini split heat pump systems using R32 refrigerant. Operating at 208-230 volts, 1-phase, 60 Hz, this floor-mounted unit delivers both heating and cooling capacity within a compact console form factor. Airflow ranges from 241 to 494 CFM, and efficiency ratings are certified at 21.5 SEER2, 11.6 EER2, and 8.5 HSPF2 under AHRI standards. Coil construction uses copper tubing with aluminum fins. The unit ships with a remote control with LCD display. Licensed HVAC technicians handle installation as part of a matched outdoor condensing unit system.
This console air handler suits residential and light-commercial single-zone applications where wall space is limited or a floor-level unit is preferred. The console form factor positions the unit low on the wall or against a baseboard, distributing conditioned air at floor level — well suited for rooms with large glass areas, server rooms, or spaces where overhead ductwork is not practical. The unit is rated for a maximum pipe elevation of 82 feet and a maximum pipe length of 131 feet, giving installers flexibility in outdoor unit placement. Dehumidification capacity is rated at 3.8 pints per hour.
Designed for use as a single-zone indoor air handler in GREE All Match and Multi21 R32 ductless mini split systems. Liquid line connection is 1/4 inch flare and suction line is 1/2 inch. Interconnecting wire is 14 to 4 AWG. Verify outdoor unit compatibility with GREE All Match or Multi21 R32 series specifications before installation.
Installation must be performed by a licensed HVAC technician holding the appropriate EPA Section 608 refrigerant handling certification, as R32 is an A2L mildly flammable refrigerant requiring proper handling procedures. Disconnect and lock out all electrical power to the system before making any wiring or refrigerant connections. Follow local mechanical and electrical codes, including NEC requirements for low-voltage control wiring and line-voltage circuits. Do not braze or modify refrigerant lines without evacuating the system to the manufacturer-specified vacuum level.
