The GREE CAS12HP230V1R32AH is a 12,000 BTU/h ceiling cassette heat pump indoor unit designed for use with a compatible GREE multi-zone or matched outdoor unit. Operating on 208-230V/1/60Hz power and charged with R32 refrigerant, this unit delivers both cooling and heating through a 4-way discharge pattern that distributes conditioned air evenly in all directions across the occupied space. Airflow is adjustable from 206 to 330 CFM, and the unit is rated at 23 SEER2 and 13 EER2 for cooling efficiency. An internal condensate drain pump is built in, eliminating the need for gravity drainage in most ceiling applications. Licensed HVAC technicians and mechanical contractors handle installation of this equipment type.
This cassette unit mounts flush into a standard ceiling grid for a clean, low-profile appearance. It is suited for residential and light commercial applications including offices, retail spaces, server rooms, and open-plan living areas where ductwork is not available or practical. The unit pairs with GREE All Match 360 series outdoor condensing units and is certified under AHRI Certificate 215415563 (Vireo R32), 215415568 (Envo R32), and 215415528 (Sapphire R32). The included wireless remote with LCD display and the XE72-44/E wired controller provide flexible control options for the end user.
Compatible with GREE All Match 360 series outdoor condensing units including those sold under the Vireo R32 (AHRI 215415563), Envo R32 (AHRI 215415568), and Sapphire R32 (AHRI 215415528) product families. Liquid line connection is 1/4 inch; gas line connection is 3/8 inch. Maximum pipe elevation is 82 feet.
Installation must be performed by an EPA Section 608 certified HVAC technician familiar with R32 flammable refrigerant handling procedures. Power must be disconnected at the breaker before any wiring or mounting work begins. The unit requires interconnecting wire sized between 14 and 4 AWG depending on run length; refer to the submittal data and local electrical code (NEC) for conductor and overcurrent protection sizing. Commissioning, leak testing, and refrigerant handling must comply with local mechanical codes and manufacturer guidelines.
