The GRAND CANYON 712-006 is a factory replacement electronic gas valve assembly rated at 350,000 BTU/h, designed for use in Grand Canyon EIS electronic ignition control systems. This high-capacity valve is supplied without the transformer, pilot tube, or burner, allowing a licensed gas technician to swap the core valve while reusing existing compatible ignition and pilot components from the installed system. It provides powered gas control in high-output log and burner applications where electronic ignition is required. The 712-006 is an OEM-specified part matched to Grand Canyon EIS assembly specifications.
This valve assembly is intended for both indoor and outdoor high-output gas log and burner installations. It is compatible with Grand Canyon EIS-350 and EIS-OUTDOOR-350 electronic ignition systems. When paired with the appropriate EIS transformer, ignition module, and pilot assembly, it completes a fully electronic lighting system. Typical installations are in residential or commercial gas fireplace and burner setups where high BTU output and electronic ignition are required. Installation is performed by a licensed gas technician familiar with Grand Canyon EIS documentation and the applicable fuel gas code.
Designed as a factory replacement for use in Grand Canyon EIS-350 and EIS-OUTDOOR-350 electronic ignition systems. Must be used with a compatible EIS transformer, ignition module, and pilot assembly to complete the electronic lighting system.
Installation must be performed by a licensed gas technician in accordance with the International Fuel Gas Code (IFGC) and applicable local codes. Shut off the gas supply at the upstream shutoff valve and verify zero pressure before disconnecting any gas valve components. Do not attempt to reuse damaged pilot tubing or ignition leads from the existing assembly. Consult the Grand Canyon EIS-350 or EIS-OUTDOOR-350 documentation for wiring and assembly sequence before commissioning.
