The GOODMAN ls385812100 is a pre-flared copper lineset designed for mini split refrigeration systems, connecting the outdoor condenser unit to the indoor air handler. The set consists of two semi-flexible copper pipes: a 3/8-inch liquid line and a 5/8-inch suction line, each insulated with 1/2-inch wall insulation. This is a bolt-on style lineset requiring no soldering. All four ends arrive machine-flared with universal flare nuts, making it compatible with standard mini split installation workflows. Licensed HVAC technicians install this lineset as part of a complete mini split system commissioning or replacement service.
This lineset is suited for residential and light-commercial ductless mini split applications where a pre-flared, ready-to-connect line set reduces field labor time. The bolt-on design eliminates the need for a torch during installation. The manufacturer recommends using the flare nuts supplied by the mini split equipment manufacturer where possible. If the lineset requires trimming to fit a specific installation, it can be field-cut and re-flared using the equipment manufacturer's nuts and a standard flaring tool.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation lineset for residential and light-commercial ductless mini split systems requiring a 3/8-inch by 5/8-inch line set configuration.
Installation should be performed by a licensed HVAC technician in accordance with applicable mechanical codes and the mini split equipment manufacturer's instructions. Shut down and de-energize the outdoor unit before connecting or disconnecting refrigerant lines. Use the flare nuts provided with the mini split equipment when possible; if the lineset is cut to length, re-flare the ends with a quality flaring tool before connecting. Do not overtighten flare fittings, and verify the system is leak-tested before recharging with refrigerant.
