The GOODMAN gxv9sa2410 is a 2-ton variable-speed inverter air conditioning condenser rated up to 19.2 SEER2, designed for high-efficiency residential cooling applications. This unit uses R32 refrigerant and features a side-discharge configuration, making it well-suited for installations where airflow direction or clearance constraints require a non-top-discharge layout. The inverter-driven variable-speed compressor modulates capacity continuously to match load demand, reducing short-cycling and improving dehumidification. Licensed HVAC technicians handle installation, startup, and refrigerant handling in compliance with EPA Section 608 requirements.
The gxv9sa2410 is intended for residential split-system cooling installations paired with a compatible air handler or coil. The side-discharge design is particularly useful in space-constrained installations such as tight side yards or equipment pads where overhead clearance or neighbor proximity makes a top-discharge unit impractical. The variable-speed inverter operation supports zoned and communicating system architectures, delivering quiet, efficient, sustained cooling cycles rather than on-off cycling typical of single-stage equipment.
Designed as an OEM-style residential split-system air conditioning condenser intended for use with a compatible matched indoor coil or air handler. Consult the Goodman product documentation for approved matched-system combinations to achieve rated SEER2 efficiency.
Installation must be performed by an EPA 608-certified HVAC technician. Shut off all power at the disconnect and breaker panel before making any electrical connections. R32 is an A2L mildly flammable refrigerant — follow all applicable local codes, ASHRAE 15, and manufacturer guidelines regarding refrigerant handling, leak detection, and ventilation requirements. Do not use with refrigerants other than R32.
