The GOODMAN gphh52431 is a single-stage, horizontal packaged heat pump designed for ducted residential and light-commercial HVAC applications. It delivers 23,600 BTU/h of nominal cooling capacity and 24,000 BTU/h of nominal heating capacity at a rated efficiency of 15.2 SEER2 and 7.0 HSPF2. The unit operates on 208/230 volts, single phase, 60 Hz power and uses a scroll compressor with a copper condenser coil. It is designed for outdoor horizontal installation and is serviced by licensed HVAC technicians. The multi-speed indoor blower and three-blade condenser fan work together to maintain airflow at 875 ft3/min on high speed for both heating and cooling modes.
The gphh52431 is suited for horizontal ducted installations where vertical clearance is limited, such as crawlspace or attic applications, and in manufactured housing or modular construction where horizontal package units are standard. It uses R-32 refrigerant and is configured for single-stage cooling and heating operation. The ducted configuration requires connection to an existing duct system rated for the unit airflow. This unit is intended for outdoor placement and must be installed in accordance with local mechanical codes and the manufacturer installation instructions.
Designed as an OEM horizontal packaged heat pump unit for ducted systems requiring 208/230-volt, single-phase power supply and R-32 refrigerant. Consult the manufacturer installation instructions and equipment schedule for verified duct, thermostat, and electrical compatibility before installation.
Installation must be performed by a licensed HVAC technician in accordance with local mechanical codes, NEC requirements, and the manufacturer installation instructions. Disconnect and lock out all electrical power before servicing. Ensure the equipment pad or mounting structure is level and capable of supporting the unit weight and dimensions. Do not operate the unit without verifying that refrigerant charge, duct connections, and electrical wiring are complete and correct per the installation documentation.
