The Goodman dhp123j35ba is a Distinctions-series R32 packaged terminal air conditioner and heat pump (PTAC) designed for wall-sleeve installation in hotels, motels, apartments, and light commercial spaces. It delivers 11,800 BTU/h of cooling and 10,500 BTU/h of reverse-cycle heat pump heating, with a 10.5 EER efficiency rating. A supplemental 2.9 kW electric resistance heater provides 8,900 BTU/h of backup heat. The unit operates on 208 volts and uses R-32 refrigerant, a lower global-warming-potential alternative to R-410A. An LCDI cord with a NEMA 6-20 amp plug is included. Licensed HVAC technicians handle installation and commissioning of this unit.
This PTAC is suited for individual room climate control in residential and light commercial applications where a self-contained, through-the-wall system is required. The reverse-cycle heat pump mode provides efficient heating down to its rated operating range, while the auxiliary electric heater covers conditions beyond that range. The 208-volt, 20-amp configuration matches common PTAC circuit provisions found in hospitality and multifamily construction. The unit fits standard PTAC wall sleeves and pairs with a compatible Distinctions-series front panel chassis.
Designed as an OEM-style PTAC replacement or new installation unit for standard through-the-wall sleeve applications operating on 208-volt, 20-amp dedicated circuits.
Installation must be performed by a licensed HVAC technician familiar with PTAC equipment and applicable local codes. Disconnect and lock out all electrical power before servicing or replacing the unit. The LCDI cord must be connected to a properly grounded, dedicated 208-volt, 20-amp circuit per NEC requirements. Do not operate the unit without a properly sized wall sleeve and front panel in place.
