This condensing unit is designed for light commercial installations such as small office buildings, retail spaces, and similar structures requiring 3-ton, 3-phase cooling. The DC3SEA Commercial series targets applications where R-32 refrigerant is specified or required. Single-stage operation keeps controls straightforward, and the scroll compressor provides reliable capacity delivery across the cooling season. The unit is intended for outdoor installation paired with a compatible air handler or evaporator coil.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation condensing unit within the DC3SEA Commercial series for light commercial split-system cooling applications using R-32 refrigerant.
Installation must be performed by a licensed HVAC technician holding an EPA Section 608 certification for handling R-32 refrigerant. Disconnect and lock out all electrical power at the service panel before making any electrical or refrigerant connections. Follow local mechanical and electrical codes, including applicable sections of the International Mechanical Code and the NEC, for outdoor unit placement, disconnect requirements, and line-set sizing. Do not mix refrigerants or use line-set sizes other than the specified 3/8-inch liquid and 7/8-inch suction dimensions.
