Installation must be performed by a licensed HVAC technician or mechanical contractor in accordance with applicable local mechanical codes and the manufacturer installation instructions. Disconnect and lock out all electrical power at the panel before servicing or making any electrical or refrigerant connections. Refrigerant line connections require proper brazing and pressure testing per EPA Section 608 regulations; this unit uses R-32, which is flammable and requires technicians certified to handle A2L refrigerants. Confirm that the mounting structure and mechanical room can support the unit weight of 430 pounds before installation.
