The Goodman ar9s801005cx is an 80 AFUE single-stage upflow and horizontal gas furnace rated at 100,000 BTU/h high-fire input and 80,000 BTU/h output. It runs on a multi-speed blower motor, draws 115 volts AC at 60 Hz on a single-phase circuit, and requires a minimum of 12.45 amps with a maximum overcurrent protection of 15 amps. The unit is designed for ducted forced-air systems and carries ANSI certification. Licensed HVAC technicians install and commission this furnace. Its Low NOx burner design meets low-emissions requirements in regulated markets.
This furnace is configured for upflow or horizontal installation in ducted residential and light-commercial applications. It supports up to 5 tons of nominal cooling capacity at 60,000 BTU/h, making it compatible with matched cooling coils in split systems. The cabinet measures 21 inches wide, 28 inches deep, and 33-3/8 inches tall, with a 10-inch blower. The temperature rise range at high fire is 35 to 65 degrees F. It is suited for indoor installation where gas-fired, forced-air heating is specified.
