It uses R-32 refrigerant and houses a single-speed scroll compressor in a top-discharge outdoor cabinet. Rated cooling capacity is 40,500 BTU/h and rated heating capacity is 39,500 BTU/h. The unit carries an EER2 of 12.5 and an HSPF2 of 7.8 under HSVTC conditions. It operates on 208/230 volts, single phase, 60 Hz, with a minimum circuit ampacity of 19.3 amps and a maximum overcurrent protection of 30 amps. Licensed HVAC technicians install and commission this unit as the outdoor half of a split heat pump system.
This condensing unit is suited for ducted split heat pump installations in residential, multi-family, and light commercial buildings. It meets DOE regional compliance for all climate regions, making it a viable choice across a wide geographic footprint. The heating operation range extends down to -20 degrees F ambient, which supports cold-climate installations where supplemental heat staging may still be required. The cooling operation range runs from 55 degrees F to 125 degrees F ambient. ISO certification is confirmed for this unit. Compatible accessory and component references from the manufacturer include ABK-20, ASC01A, CSR-U-2, FSK01A, LSK02A, and OT18-60A.
Designed for use in ducted split heat pump systems. Manufacturer-listed accessory and component references for this unit include ABK-20, ASC01A, CSR-U-2, FSK01A, LSK02A, and OT18-60A. Non-communicating wiring configuration is compatible with standard low-voltage thermostats and non-communicating air handler controls. Consult the manufacturer installation instructions for matched indoor unit selection and line set sizing requirements.
Installation must be performed by a licensed HVAC technician holding the appropriate EPA Section 608 certification for R-32 refrigerant handling. Disconnect and lock out all power at the electrical panel before making any wiring connections. Maximum line set length is 200 feet horizontally and 79 feet vertically; additional refrigerant charge is required at 0.64 pounds per foot beyond the factory pre-charged length of 15 feet. Follow applicable local mechanical codes and NEC requirements for disconnect sizing, wire gauge, and outdoor unit placement clearances.
